Please forward one Photo per email to ease the transfer as images can be large files.

PLEASE NOTE:

Photos will be on a public site and can be viewed by anyone, so if your picture includes people (other than in a public place) the responsibility is on you to have obtained the appropriate permissions from the individuals for publication.

1  Clearly State Your Name & Membership Number *

2  State Which Class You are Entering For Each Photo

3 Only One Entry Per Class Per Member

The photos will be loaded onto the website by Monday 7th of September.

Instructions for members Voting.

From Tuesday 8th of September the voting will be open for members for two weeks until Sunday 20th September to choose their favourite photo in each class.

Members will be able to view the photos on the ALGS website using the drop-down menu from the ‘PHOTO COMP’ tab.

On the drop down menu you will see the 8 classes for the photo competition, 6 for the adults and 2 for the children. When you click on the class you will see all the entries in that class. Each photo will have an exhibit number. When you have chosen your favourites send your choices to ALGSphotocomp@outlook.com.

1 Clearly State Your Name & Membership Number *

2 State which Class you are Voting in and which Exhibit is your Favourite 

3 Only One Vote Per Class (i.e. maximum 8 votes)

*(Membership names and numbers will only be visible to the organisers and is purely for checking adherence to the rules).

The votes will be collated and the result will be announced by email in a newsletter ASAP after Monday 21st September.

Summary:

Tuesday 1st September - All entries must be in by this date.

Tuesday 8th September - Photos in all classes available for members viewing and voting.

Sunday 20th September - Voting closes.

Monday 21st September - ASAP Result announced by News Bulletin (and subsequently by newsletter).
